White coat ceremony, Oath taking ceremony, Dean’s address and Parent-Teacher Meet
Date: 24/01/2023 Venue: College Auditorium 10 am onwards
The ceremony was organized by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for 1st year MBBS 2022-23 batch.
Ceremony started with National Anthem and a warm welcome proposed by Dr. Ruth Joshi, Co-ordinator-PTA. The white coat ceremony continued with honoring all students with white coats by faculty.It was moderated by Dr Nitin Joshi, Deputy Dean (UG). Recitation of Maharshi Charak Shapath (oath) was conducted by all the students. Dr Sachin Wankhede, Deputy Dean (PG) ellaborated the Institute’s anti-ragging move. Dr. Krishnakant Patil, Dean addressed the audience and explained the disciplinary measures to be followed by students regarding their attendance, performance and the behaviour in and around the campus. Dr Arvind Bhore, Director elaborated the student’s code of conduct. He emphasise to students the importance and benefits of maintaining physical, emotional and social health. Satisfactory notes were given by many parents. Dr. Sanjana Nemade, Secretory-PTA expressed the words of gratitude. The session was followed by “Teacher-Student-Parent interaction” and councelling in view of students academic mandates. The high tea was arranged in between the interactive session.
