The Paediatric Department & Pediatric wards are located on the 6th floor in the new building. There are total 100 beds in the Pediatric wards, 8 beds in PICU & 8 in NICU. There are 3 units.
Pediatric department conducts general OPD and specialty OPDs like

e) High Risk Clinic
f) Pediatric Endocrine Clinic
g) Pediatric Gastro & Diarrhea Clinic
h) Pediatric Cardiology Clinic
i) Pediatric Asthma Clinic
j) Pediatric Nephrology Clinic
k) Neurology Clinic
l) Immunization Clinic
m) Thalassemia Clinic
n) Nutrition Clinic
o) Infection Disease Clinic
The students of MBBS, Nursing and Physiotherapy are imparted theoretical and practical knowledge in handling Pediatric patients.
The department has a skills lab with manikins for pediatric basic & advanced life support as well as for neonatal resuscitation training which are utilized for hands-on training to postgraduates, undergraduates and interns. The department also has museum with, models, specimens, flowcharts etc. for demonstration & training of students. The department has a separate Thalassemia Day Care Center, Pediatric GI Endoscopy Unit, Bronchoscopy Unit & Pediatric Dialysis Unit snd Pediatric Pulmonary Function Testing within the department.
The Paediatric ward has a play room for children with lots of toys and a television set.
