Nuclear Medicine

The department of Nuclear Medicine is located on ground floor in the same building below Blood Centre. The department not only conducts various types of diagnostic procedures to help arrive at proper diagnosis of the disease, it also performs therapeutic procedures like low dose radio- iodine therapy for thyroloxicosus.

All the diagnostic procedures about 20 types are performed under Gamma Camera. The radio active isotopes are received from BARC Trombay Mumbai twice a month regularly and also on as and when required basis.

We also perform Dacroscintigraphy, Milk scan and Eustachian scintigraphy.
