ICU Complex is backbone of the hospital. Any emergency is handled 24/7 at ICU Complex. It is very well equipped not only with latest instruments but also a team of qualified doctors, nurses & MPWs. There are two ICU Units.
This 4 bedded ICU is located at building no. 3 on the 2nd floor, OBGY Department. It is well equipped to care of obstetric emergencies.
The Intensive care unit has been recognized by Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) and approved to start Indian Diploma of Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) and Post MBBS Certificate Course in Critical Care from the July 2016 onwards.
Each patient’s bed is furnished with multipara monitors with ETCO2, Ventilators, central suction & central monitoring. MRI compatible ventilator, High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator (HFOV), Transvenous Temporary Pacemaker (TPI), Bedside 2D ECHO and Bedside USG are also available. Other crucial equipments available in these ICUs are listed as follows:

Patients with severe sepsis, polytrauma, ARDS, GBS, AMI, renal failure, hepatic encephalopathy, pulmonary embolism, cardiac diseases etc. are admitted in the ICUs and managed promptly and precisely by the staff.
This is 20 bedded unit meant for critical surgical patients pre and post operatively. Including oncosurgical patients.
SICU (ENT, Ophthal , Obgy): This is 8 bedded well equipped ICU to manage the post operative patient of ENT , Ophthal & Obgy.
This is 14 bedded well staffed and well equipped unit with multipara monitors, invasive and noninvasive with portable ventilators, defibrillators, syringe pumps, Infusion pumps and kits for ICU procedures.
A Pediatric ICU with 8 beds has all the equipment to handle and manage critically ill Pediatric patients.
The Neonatal ICU is 8 bedded with state of the art equipments to manage and give intensive care to the needy neonates. There is a separate room for mothers to feed the babies. Everything is done under strict aseptic precautions. The PICU and NICU are looked after by the department of pediatrics.
It is 6 bedded, and equipped to manage critical patients from the department of Pulmonary Medicine.
This 6 bedded unit is dedicated for management of variety of severe cardiac conditions.
This 4 bedded ICU is well equipped to take care of female patient with haemorrhage both antepartum and postpartum, hypertension disorders, pre-eclampsia and its related complication.
This 6 bedded ICU provided advance treatment for burn patients who required highly skilled medical attention including close observation and the use of special monitoring equipment and comprehensive skin treatment.
