‘’Mechanical Ventilation’’ Workshop Conducted on 23^rd, 24^th Sept 2024 at Central Skill Labs SKNMC&GH.

Workshop was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Honourable Director Dr. Bhore Sir. & Our Constant Motivator Honourable Dean Dr. Patil sir along with Dr. Ranade Principal    S.K.N College of Physiotherapy.

The extensive hands on workshop was organized by Dr. Seema Karhade H.O.D Dept of Emergency Medicine & Dr. Prajacta Patil  H. O.D  Dept of Cardiovascular & Respiratory Physiotherapy.

It was organized for Physiotherapy Students as their working domain is ICU, NICU.

Total participants were around 64. We kept the limited seats as this is ‘’Hands on Session’’ so each & every participant will get the fair chance to learn & practice Invasive & Non Invasive Mechanical Ventilations.

The Morning session included lectures & Evening session includes ‘’ Hands on’’ so at the end of workshop, participants are well acquainted with knowledge & skills.

Faculties from Emergency Medicine Department are the main resource persons for providing knowledge & skills as well faculties from Anaesthesia, Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine & Physiotherapy Department contributed their skills & knowledge.

Day two was special as each & every participant got a chance to work, handle the different modes of ventilation & practical sessions on ventilating ARDS and COPD patients using. Invasive & Non Invasive Ventilatory modes.

It was a great academic feast with skills & demanded by outside doctors too.
