Department Of Anatomy
5th Annual Research Conference was organized by the Department of Anatomy & the Department of Orthopaedics on 20th & 21 September 2024 at Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College & General Hospital, Narhe, Pune.
The theme of this conference was “Musculoskeletal disorders - from prevention to management”
We are thankful to Mr. M. N. Navale Sir, Dr. Mrs. Sunanda Navale Madam, Mrs. Rachana Navale-Ashtekar, Mr. Rohit Navale Sir for giving us opportunity to organise this conference.
Conference was inaugurated by our Director - Dr. A.V.Bhore, Dean- Dr.Krishnakant B. Patil and Organizing secretary of the conference Dr. Archana Shekokar & Dr. Vijay Nemade and all governing council members. Inauguration was followed by key note address by chief guest Dr. Parag Sancheti.
All 730 Delegates enjoyed knowledge and discussions by eminent speakers. The scientific sessions with 35 Original research oral papers presentation & 65 Poster presentations by Undergraduate, Post graduates & Faculties from various medical colleges. Scientific sessions were conducted by Dr. Netra Gadre, Dr. Pallavi Kulkarni, Dr. Renuka Ahankari, Dr. Deepti Kulkarni, Dr. Kirti Solanke & Tutors. Sessions were chaired by senior faculties from all over the Maharashtra. Symposium, Panel Discussion and guest enhanced the richness of this conference. Dr Gaikwad, Dr Bhandari, Dr. Parekh, Dr. Darawade, Dr. Soman and other faculties and post graduates from Orthopaedic department were involved in this. Panel discussion was moderated by Dr Jitendra Ingole very aptly.
Dr. Babhulkar and Dr. Shirish Pathak told about newer technique of shoulder surgery, Dr. Sabhyasachi Sengupta explained about research, biostatistics. Dr. Kharat threw light on recently emerging Artificial Intelligence.
All delegates enjoyed the academic feast & food, meeting colleagues, seniors & juniors. Tremendous positive feedback from faculties, students & external delegates about the academic & culinary. The success of conference was because of unmatched enthusiasm, tremendous efforts and willingness of the faculties of Department of Anatomy & Department of Orthopaedics & Mr Sundarlal Kumavat, Mr Sanjay Raut, Mrs.Manisha Kulkarni, Mrs. Sushama Gandle & Non Teaching Staff also.
