3rd National Pharmacovigilance Week

National Pharmacovigilance week was celebrated (From 17th - 23rd September, 2023) by Smt Kashibai navale Medical college and General hospital, Pune. The theme suggested for this year’s National pharmacovigilance Week was “Pharmacovigilance: Encouraging reporting of ADR by patients”

Online Pharmacovigilance quiz was conducted for MBBS, Nursing and Physiotherapy Students. The winners of the quiz were –the first prize went to Sachin Borhade, second prize to Mahadev Mundhe, third Prize to Simi Goregaonkar
Secondly, the AMC conducted an Session in the form of a Lecture on Pharmacovigilance awareness and ADR form Reporting . The session had attended by total of 86 Nursing Staff. The session began with a introduction of Pharmacovigilance and its importance. This is followed by briefing about how to report ADR form. The session was quite interactive with nursing staff participating in the question and answer session.
The third event Poster and Reel Presentation was done by II MBBS students .The theme for the poster presentation was – Importance of ADR reporting . The winners of the poster presentation were Ayush Bhosale and Aditi Godbole -1st prize, Swaraj Nalawade & Chirag patil – 2nd prize. Students also showed their talent by making reels on Public participation in Pharmacovigilance. The winners of reel making were Sanika Kapoor and Vaibhavi Patil.
Dr. Shahu Ingole, Associate professor sent an e-poster to IPC on the theme of Public participation in Pharmacovigilance.
