World Hepatitis Day on 28th July 2022.
Department of Medicine organised World Hepatitis Day on 28th July 2022. The program was chaired by Dr Ingole HOD Medicine, in presence of faculty of Department of Medicine, Post graduate residents and Interns of Medicine. Interns of Medicine Mihir Awasarikar created the awareness among the common people, OPD patients and their relatives about the hepatitis disease, its general symptoms, types and modes of transmission along with its consequences if it goes untreated.
He also promoted the importance of the hepatitis vaccination, various treatments performed at the SKNGH facility on international hepatitis day, 28th July 2022.
Department of medicine in association with Department of Community Medicine organised the vaccination program for medicine PG residents and Interns.
