In the department of Physiology, the various teaching learning sessions were carried out effectively.
For I MBBS students, didactic lectures, tutorials, lecture - demonstrations, practicals seminars, Quiz, CD shows were arranged. Seminars & Quiz ensured the active participation of students in learning and helped them to increase communication skills.
To make learning process more effective class-tests, MCQ tests, test on clinical examination were implemented as well.
In order to make teaching methods more interesting, effective and flawless, junior teaching staff members undergo Microteaching sessions from time to time.
I MBBS students were also taken to visit the wards in our hospital to have visual impact of various signs & symptoms of diseases of which physiological basis is discussed in the department. Students also visited blood bank of the college to learn its functioning.
As mentioned above, on the same line of teaching methodology, I BPTH, F.Y.B.Sc. (Nursing) and Ist year post-basic B.Sc. Nursing course students were also given learning exercises and training.
